Description

The Type EVSN linear luminaire with fluorescent lamp is an explosion protected item of operating equipment with lamp sockets for fluorescent lamps Type T8 (Ø26) with G13 base. It is used to illuminate operating and storage facilities in potentially explosive areas, and may be deployed in Zones 2 and 22.
The luminaire with type of protection “Ex nA” is available in a 1-lamp or 2-lamp version.

For the electrical connection, two threaded holes are provided to house the cable glands or blanking plugs, approved for the explosion protected area (“Ex e” – M20x1.5). As standard, the luminaire is designed for internal through-wiring. The electrical connection of entry and exit lines is possible on opposite sides. As an option, the luminaire can be fitted with a positive break “Ex d” switch to ensure an all-pole disconnection to the upstream device when the luminaire is opened. It is then only possible to put the luminaire back into operation by closing the cover. Diverse mounting accessories make it possible to install the luminaire with wall or ceiling mounting, pole mounting or pendant mounting.
