Description

The Type AVCXG linear luminaire with fluorescent lamp is an explosion protected item of operating equipment with lamp sockets for fluorescent lamps Type T8 (Ø26) with G13 base. It is used to illuminate operating and storage facilities in potentially explosive areas, and may be deployed in Zones 1, 2 as well as 21 and 22. The luminaire with type of protection “Ex e q” is available in a 1-lamp or 2-lamp version.

Due to the tough design and thanks to high quality, marine grade stainless steel, these luminaires are ideally suited to all application areas with extreme environmental conditions.
For the electrical connection, two threaded holes are provided to house the cable glands or blanking plugs, approved for the explosion protected area (“Ex e” – M20x1.5).
As standard, the luminaire is designed for internal through-wiring. The electrical connection of entry and exit lines is possible on opposite sides.

Diverse mounting accessories make it possible to install the luminaire with wall or ceiling mounting, pole mounting or pendant mounting. In addition to general lighting, the Type AVCXG luminaire can be used as safety lighting, with 1-lamp emergency lighting for up to 2 hours.
