Beschreibung
A series of Ex e 3-phase transformers in sizes from 2,5 kVA and up to 275 kVA, voltage range from 115 V up to 11000 V and with possibility for multi tapping of both primary and secondary side.
Extra® transformers are equipped with PT100 sensors in each winding to avoid overheating. The PT100 sensors can be connected to relays, which safely isolates the transformer in the event of faults or the winding temperatures are too high. The monitoring equipment can be a part of the delivery. Monitoring equipment will be mounted on the outside of the cabinet.
By using Ex e transformer, the weight is reduced by 60% compared to Ex d enclosures and reduce the maintenance time compared to oil cooled transformers.
