Ex Compact Air-Conditioning Unit
| The air conditioning unit type FKS-CLM, is for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and is characterised by its compact dimensions. Despite its compact design the unit has an effective cooling capacity of 2 respectively 4 kW, which can be easily mounted to a plain side panel and is suitable for installations with ambient temperature ranges of -35°C up to +55°C. Additionally, equipment that is already being operated can be equipped with the new FKS-CLM air cooling system; this also applies to EEx p cabinets. In combination with an Ex-heating system the temperatures in cabinets and small containers can be controlled accurately. For example, the values measured in process analysing systems that are installed in such cabinets or containers outdoors often fluctuate due to day and night temperature changes, these fluctuations can be prevented by tempering the system by means of the Ex compact air conditioning unit. These systems can also be applied in converter cabinets or small generator houses on oil rigs in hazardous areas. The Ex compact air conditioning unit is a cost effective solution for these and other similar fields of application.
