Measuring system for fuel oil trucks
Conventional gas separators in fuel oil trucks work reliably and precisely but as they are also quite cumbersome, they cause high costs. What is particularly problematic is the residual quantity of fuel oil in the meter and in the gas separator, a mixing of the fuel oil products cannot be excluded.
TIGER, the new measuring system made by BARTEC, replaces the conventional gas separator systems. It allows the fully automated electronic dispensing of fuel oil and diesel products with integrated measured product delivery to the customer.
The system is based on the following principle: A sensor measures the air content in the fuel oil and calculates the actual quantity of fuel oil per liter. By means of a turbine, the quantity of oil including the air is measured, then the measured air content is deducted. Requiring very little space, this measuring system reduces the weight, the installation expenditure and last but not least the costs.
